The company known as "Bixworks" is the company formed around the Gumball Gizmo, the first kinetic machine by Dale Emery and Van Peery. It was started in the first part of 1994, and at that time only one prototype Gumball Gizmo existed. In the first year, ten additional units were built to flesh out the issues of marketing and operation. Those ten machines are being operated by Bixworks mostly in the Salt Lake City area. A list of exact locations follows below.
